In the day of self-promotion and strategic digital platform marketing possibilities, I want to remind you that in the kingdom of God, HE DECIDES who to put His hand on…for His purposes to be accomplished.
At 60, I personally am amazed by who, what, when, how and why God uses who He chooses. I decided a long time ago to celebrate my friends and in other cases, my comrades in the kingdom who God chooses to promote. On a very personal note, I am not looking for promotion from man or hope that somehow or someway I will say something that “goes viral.” I want the hand of God on my life, my family and whatever He has given me to be faithful in His purpose for my life. What I do know, is your own heart will be promoted in the heart of God when you celebrate the goodness of God in and on the lives of others!
Consider this:
- David didn’t set out to conquer a giant
- Joseph wasn’t trying to be second only to Pharaoh
- Esther wasn’t trying to become a queen
- Abraham was not trying to be famous
- Jesus wasn’t trying to make His dreams come true
Celebrate SOMEBODY today who God is promoting!
