Alignment is the determinate factor in all success.” –Leadershipology.com

No one achieves anything great by themselves except mastery over themselves (and great alignments make that achievement far more reachable).

Alfred Lord Tennyson wrote, “I am a part of all that I have met” in his poem Ulysses. The deeper meaning in that line is that no one becomes who they are without the influence of others. We are more than a product of our environment, we are the product of the people we go through life with. In 1 Corinthians 15:33 (NASB) the Bible says that bad company corrupts good morals. The opposite is true as well… good company shapes great character! With all that in mind, it is easy to see that you will never BE the right person until you line up with the right people.

When you choose the right people to be in your life, you are making the right choice to go up, get better, to move forward, and find fulfillment. Choosing who you will go through life with is more important than any assignment you will ever have. Choose people who have learned and personally grown from their experiences to grow through life with you. The people that add value to your life are the people you should value the most in your life.

Ultimately, alignments are a big, big deal because when you get into alignment with the right people, in the right place, at the right time, the right things can happen in your life. Divine alignments lead to divine assignments. Divine assignments lead to divine appointments. Divine appointments lead to divine advancement and God’s kingdom being advanced in the earth.

Who can you choose today to more closely align yourself with? How can you let them know how much they mean to you today? Don’t assume they just know! Be intentional and lead any relationship you are in that brings value to who you are!
